My horoscope is pretty
accurate. I did recently run into an old friend and we did hang out but it was
not on a romantic level. We are just really good friends that haven’t seen each
other in almost a year. The part about being sexy is not so much an accurate
statement I would consider that to be
falsifiable. the only accurate part of my horoscope is the first
sentence “A love partner could contact you out of the blue, Sagittarius,
perhaps proposing that the two of you get together tonight - alone.” He was an
old love partner but we figured out we were better off as friends. What makes
this horoscope falsifiable is the fact that it states that I am feeling sexy
and also about being surprised if my friend orders champagne. I believe that
horoscopes can be true at times but this particular one is extremely
inaccurate.
I’m not going to lie, I totally listen for my horoscope in the morning lol. The radio station I listen to goes through them every morning and gives you a number that is supposed to correspond with your day. While I know that a horoscope cannot possibly be accurate for everyone that was born in the same time frame as me, it’s still interesting to listen to. Usually if I have a low number I tell myself “This is ridiculous!” but if it’s a high one then I pay a little more attention! Sometimes I’ll hear horoscopes for other signs that I feel fit me better some days but I just listen more for fun and if I think I’m going to have a better day because of what my horoscope says, then so be it! =)
ReplyDeleteI think that it is kind of interesting that people kind make what is happening in their lives go along with horoscopes. In my experience I have seen that if you look at all of the various horoscopes you can actually connect the happenings of the week or month to what those others say. I'm not saying that you are wrong, maybe horoscopes really do work but I just think that they are far too general to really go off of. However, I do think it is kind of interesting and fun to look at what your day or month may be like. And like for your horoscope it seems fun and interesting so it could be something to look forward to or reflect on.
ReplyDeleteI think that horoscopes are very inaccurate, and this is a prime example of it. I think that it is just a bunch of random things, and sometimes it happens to be accurate to certain people, so they start to believe in it. It was just a coincidence that the horoscope was right on that day, but often times they are not right. I was never a believer in horoscopes. I did not even know what my sign was until we got assigned this assignment when I looked it up. I do not think that this stuff is true, and I think that it is outrageous how certain people follow these horoscopes everyday.
